This scholarship provides an avenue to continue his tradition of helping students achieve success. Eligible candidates must be residents of Calhoun County who are graduates or graduating seniors with a GPA of 2.5 or higher who are seeking educational opportunities beyond high school. If an applicant has a GPA below 2.5 upon graduation from high school, they must provide a written statement that outlines their plan for succeeding in college and overcoming obstacles. Selection will be based on the applicant(s) demonstrated leadership skills and involvement in their community as well as financial need.
