Saginaw Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors Scholarship
Saginaw Community Foundation
This scholarship is for high school seniors who live in Saginaw County, Michigan, or one of the following towns: Akron, Caro, Fairgrove, Reese, or Vassar. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a 2.5 GPA and plan to pursue an undergraduate degree full-time at a two- or four-year Michigan college/university. Residency requirement is waived if the applicant's parent/legal guardian is a member of Saginaw Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (SAIFA), formerly SALU. Selection will be based on extracurricular activities, community involvement, scholastic record, an essay, and recommendations. Bonus points will be awarded if applicant's parent is SAIFA member; employed in the insurance industry; or permanently disabled or deceased.
