The Roosevelt Scholarship was established to honor teamwork and positive team dynamics as important skills for working successfully in corporate America and community organizations. The Roosevelts believe effective teamwork behaviors can provide young people with tools to accomplish greater achievements. Applicants are required to form a team of 3 eligible students and work to complete one team project assignment. The assignment is to create a proposal for a community project following the application instructions, all while leveraging teamwork. Working as a team is most often fun and rewarding, so give it a try! For candidate consideration, scholarship applicants must complete the assignment. One scholarship will be awarded annually with each member of the team receiving an award. Battle Creek area high school juniors and seniors, CACC, and home schooled students who reside in local district are eligible to apply.
