Robert & Nancy Worsnop Scholarship

Polk County Community Foundation

This scholarship is for one or two graduation high school seniors, including home schooled students, who live in Polk County or Landrum. To show that the student will be able to benefit from post high school technical training, the student must have demonstrated sufficient competency in English, math and science related subjects. The student must plan to complete a one or two year training course at a community college or technical school in his or her chosen field. The training could be for computers, culinary automotive, finance, carpentry, dental, veterinary or any other field requiring technical training courses. The objective of such additional training to enable the student to achieve the best position possible in his or her chosen field of endeavor. This award is not for students planning to attend a four year program or for student who are pursuing training in the medical field.
