RISE Professional - Research Internships in Science & Engineering
German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)
The program is open for students in the field of biology, chemistry, Computer science, physics, earth science, engineering or a closely related field. All participants receive a scholarship from DAAD and an additional stipend from their host company/institution to help cover living expenses. German language requirements vary according to the internship placement.

**Due to the pandemic situation, RISE was cancelled for 2020. DAAD is still following the developments regarding the coronavirus in order to flexibly react to changing situations. As of now, we expect the RISE programs to resume as planned in 2021. For any updates, please check the RISE website.**
