Richmond African American Scholarship
Community Foundation Serving Richmond and Central Virginia
This scholarship is for African American students attending one of the following seven public high schools in Richmond City Schools: Armstrong, Franklin Miliary, George Wythe, Huguenot, John Marshall, Richmond Community, Thomas Jefferson, or Open High School. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must demonstrate academic achievement, financial need, civic and community involvement, and leadership capabilities. Applicants must also have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher. Applicants must be candidates for high school graduation at the end of the current academic year and plan to enroll in a full-time bachelor's program at an accredited four-year college or university the following year.
