REEF George Patt Scholarship

Illinois Real Estate Educational Foundation

In recognition of years of distinguished service, the Real Estate Educational Foundation has established the George L. Patt Scholarship Fund. The George L. Patt Scholarship was created to make it possible for Illinois residents who are United States veterans to pursue (1) an undergraduate college or university education in the field of real estate; or active reserves, air or army guardsman (2) education in real estate administration to establish themselves as an association executive in a REALTOR organization. If there is no applicant meeting the above criteria the scholarship may be used, at the discretion of the Foundation’s scholarship subcommittee, to assist another veteran or individual to pursue another field of interest. The scholarship may be used for expenses including tuition, room and board, texts and materials at any college or university in Illinois. The number of scholarships awarded annually will be determined by the Foundation, with awards not exceeding $1,000.
