Raymond T. Wellington, Jr. Memorial Scholarship

American Legion Auxiliary - Department of New York

This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors and high school graduates in New York state who are the direct descendants of a US veteran. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be daughters, granddaughters, great-granddaughters, sons, grandsons, or great grandsons of veterans who served in the Armed Forces during World War I, World War II, the Korean Conflict, Vietnam War, Grenada/Lebanon, Panama and the Persian Gulf. Applicants must be graduates of an accredited high school and be US citizens. Applicants must be sponsored by an auxiliary unit; each unit may submit one application to the county education chairman for review.
