Raymond and Velma Merkle Scholarship - Manual High School
Denver Foundation
This scholarship is for graduating seniors at Manual High School in Denver, Colorado. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be first-generation college students and have an unweighted GPA of at least 2.75. They must also have unmet financial need, be active in their school and community, and plan to attend a trade school, technical school, community college, or four-year accredited college in Colorado. A first-generation student is someone whose parents and grandparents did not graduate from college; students who meet this criteria but have siblings who are college students or graduates are still eligible. Students who are related to a member of the scholarship selection committee, Denver Foundation employee, or Denver Foundation board member are not eligible
