Portland Latino Gay Pride Scholarship
Equity Foundation
This scholarship is for gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender (GLBT) students and children of GLBT parents. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be residents of the state of Oregon, or Clark County, Washington, and have been for at least one year prior to submitting an application. Applicants must be pursuing their education beyond the secondary level in one or more of the following areas: college/university, trade/vocational, or the arts. Applicants must be accepted for enrollment or enrolled in an accredited educational program beyond the secondary level that has an established non-discrimination policy that includes sexual and gender minority groups. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and the potential to successfully complete their selected program of study. Preference will be given to Latinos and to candidates who demonstrate direct involvement with the Latino or the GLBT community.
