Peggy O’Brien Scholarship
Outer Banks Community Foundation
The Peggy O’Brien Scholarship was established by O’Brien Beach Building, Inc. in 2004 to help Currituck County students pursue education in the building trades. This includes engineering, masonry, architecture, construction, and other related vocations. This scholarship targets students with good academic standing and demonstrated financial need. The award is renewable for multiple years, so long as the student maintains good academic standing and continues to study a building trade. This scholarship is administered by the College of The Albemarle.
