P. Buckley Moss Endowed Scholarship

The P. Buckley Moss Endowed Scholarship is given annually to one high school senior with a verified financial need, a verified language-related learning difference, visual arts talent, acceptance to an accredited four-year college or university or two-year community college,
and has the intent to pursue a career in a visual arts field. Art classes must be taken each semester to continue the award renewal.
This scholarship focuses on students with languagerelated learning differences. Disabilities in specific language processing, including but not limited to dyslexia, written expression, reading comprehension, central auditory processing, visual perception, word recognition, and sequencing. Verification of such diagnosis must be provided by a case manager or counselor. Deaf and blind students are not eligible for this scholarship. Students with ADD or ADHD alone
are not eligible. This focus helps in being able to assess the student’s disabilities and how they have dealt with them.
