Outstanding Youth College Fund Scholarship

This scholarship is for current or emancipated foster youth who are accepted to or attending a two-year college or four-year university in the Sacramento region in California. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA, enroll in and complete a minimum of 12 units per semester, and plan to work a minimum of 10 hours per week while attending college. Preference will be given to those who have successfully completed 24 college credits. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, essay, potential and merit, extracurricular activities, and reference letters. See website for additional accompanying documents.
