New York State Regents Awards for Children of Deceased and Disabled Veterans

New York State Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC)

This scholarship is for children of veterans who served in the US Armed Forces during specified periods of war or national emergency, and, as a result of service, died or suffered a 40% or more disability, was a POW, or is currently classified as MIA. Veteran parents must have been New York residents at the time of entry into service or at death. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be enrolled full-time in a New York state school or college, and be a New York resident at the start of the term for which payment is requested.
