National Dairy Shrine/Klussendorf/McKown Scholarship

National Dairy Shrine (NDS)

This scholarship is for students in their first, second, or third year at a two- or four-year college or university in the United States or Canada. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be majoring in dairy science, animal science, agribusiness, or another related major that will develop the skills needed to pursue a career in the dairy industry. Students affiliated with all dairy breeds are encouraged to apply for these scholarships; however, preference will be given to students from predominately Holstein backgrounds. Past, present, and potential members of dairy cattle judging teams will receive special consideration. Applicants must show leadership, participation in extracurricular activities, and a special interest and ability in showing dairy cattle in their best natural form.
