This scholarship is for undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a degree in the field of early childhood education. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must demonstrate financial need. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate an interest in working with Hawaiian children in Hawaii after completion of their education. Applicants must be enrolled in a degree-seeking program at a two- or four-year college institution. Applicants must demonstrate an interest in Hawaiian language, culture, and history; and a commitment to contribute to the greater community.
