Mildred McConkey Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is for graduating seniors at Kalamazoo Central High School and Loy Norrix High School in Kalamazoo, Michigan. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have shown noteworthy improvement during their three to four years of high school course work in English and have achieved exceptional ability in English composition. Applicants must be US citizens/permanent resident aliens who plan to enroll full-time in an accredited college/university. Consideration will also be given to applicants' enthusiasm, creativity, positive expression, clear communication, determination, and perseverance.
