Matthew J. Reinke Memorial Scholarship

Midland Area Community Foundation

This scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior at Harrison Community Schools who has achieved a 3.0 grade point average or better and plans a career in teaching at the elementary or secondary level. If there is no qualifying applicant in this curriculum then the field of education is open. The recipient must have participated and lettered in at least one varsity sport. The scholarship application must include a letter of recommendation from a varsity coach which testifies to the applicant’s traits of good character and sportsmanship following Matt’s philosophy, “the only thing worse than losing is quitting”.
