Marie M. Borden Scholarship

Johnson County Community Foundation

This scholarship is for graduating seniors from public high schools in Johnson County, Indiana. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must plan to major in music or music education and intend to pursue four years of undergraduate study on a full-time basis leading to a bachelor's degree at any Indiana college or university. Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA; demonstrate academic preparation and potential for success in college and their chosen field of study; and be deemed worthy or deserving by the committee for this award by virtue of character, leadership traits, and academic qualification. Financial need is considered. Applicants must provide a statement including what instrument they play, how many years they have played, and any musical activities.
