Margaret C. Lassey Nursing Scholarship

In 2004, Margaret C. Lassey was presented with an award from the Pioneers Memorial Hospital Foundation for her many years of service with the Women’s Auxiliary. This was the first year the award was presented and it was named “The Margaret Award” in her honor. It is now presented annually.

Norman, their daughter Carol Greaves, granddaughters Shelley Ridge, and Christi McClain have established an endowment fund appropriately named the “Margaret C. Lassey Nursing Scholarship Fund” to memorialize Margaret’s devotion to the PMH Women’s Auxiliary. As an endowment, this fund will support the PMH Women’s Auxiliary’s nursing scholarship program in perpetuity.
