Lovettsville/Waterford Humanitarian Scholarship - Barbara Carr Memorial Award

This scholarship is for students who have been residents of the Lovettsville/Waterford area in Virginia during their high school junior and senior years. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be graduating students continuing to a technical/vocational school, community college, or four-year university/college, who have demonstrated sustained focused service efforts on behalf of genuinely needy individuals and communities. Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA; demonstrated financial need; demonstrated involvement in school activities and/or employment; and demonstrated involvement in community service. Applicants must be US citizens.
