South Carolina Commission on Higher Education

This grant is for legal residents of South Carolina who are enrolled at the time of the grant disbursement as degree-seeking students in a minimum of six credit hours for the term and making satisfactory academic progress. To qualify, applicants must be enrolled at an eligible two-year public or independent college in South Carolina. Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents/eligible non-citizens; verify that they do not owe a refund or repayment on a State Grant, Pell Grant, or a Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant and is not in default on a loan under the Federal Perkins Loan or Federal Staffard Loan program; and must not be a recipient of the HOPE, LIFE, or Palmetto Fellows Scholarships.
