Lindsay M. Entz Memorial Scholarship

First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania

This scholarship is for high school seniors at Jersey Shore Area High School in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must attend a full-time continuing education program, preferably in Pennsylvania, and pursue a course of study in the education of special needs children. Applicants must exhibit good citizenship, be a leader with a sense of humor, be grounded, show tolerance of others, be honest, and have integrity. Applicants must be involved in the community, make a difference in the school community, and have unmet financial need. Other than a strong potential for success, such factors as class rank and GPA will not be criteria in making a selection unless in the judgment of the selection committee such factors are needed to distinguish between multiple potential candidates.
