In order to qualify for this scholarship, students must: be female, graduate from Yates High School in May of year applying; graduate in the top 20% of senior class; and show evidence of leadership skills in their school or local community. Application is required along with a copy of their official transcript and a personal statement explaining the importance of possessing strong leadership skills for their future success. In addition, students must submit one letter of recommendation from an adult that is NOT a family member.
