Law Enforcement Officer Memorial Scholarship

New Jersey Higher Education Student Assistance Authority (HESAA)

This scholarship is for dependent children or surviving spouses of New Jersey law enforcement officers who were killed in the line of duty. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate degree program at an approved New Jersey college or university and be US citizens or eligible non-citizens. Eligibility is limited to eight years from the date of the child’s high school graduation and eight years from the date of death for the spouse. Students must be registered with Selective Service.
