Learning to fly is expensive! The Kitty Hawk Chapter can help lessen the financial burden! Each year, the Kitty Hawk 99s award a scholarship and a year’s membership in The Ninety-Nines to assist a woman who is working to become a licensed pilot or on an advanced rating or certificate. This Scholarship is open to all women pilots, including members of The 99s.The scholarship, awarded annually in the spring, is to encourage women pilots, promote aviation within the surrounding community, and provide networking opportunities for women. Once awarded, the funds are sent directly to the flight school, university, college or other institution chosen by the recipient.
