Kenneth Makinney & David T. Pietsch Families Scholarship Fund for Grades 6-12

This fund was established by the families of Kenneth Makinney and David T. Pietsch, Sr. It honors the memory of Kenneth Makinney's father who founded Makinney & Company in 1896. David T. Pietsch Sr. founded Hawaiian Title Company, Limited in 1952. The two companies merged to form Title Guaranty of Hawai'i. The purpose of this scholarship fund is to assist deserving employees and/or their dependents in furthering their education.
