John A. Savoy Scholarship Fund

First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania

This scholarship is for seniors at South Williamsport High School in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must attend an undergraduate program at an accredited institution of higher education full-time, preferably in Pennsylvania. Applicants must exhibit good citizenship and community involvement, have unmet financial need, and not be a recipient of any other major scholarship awards. Other than a strong potential for success, such factors as class rank and GPA will not be criteria in making a selection unless in the judgment of the selection committee such factors are needed to distinguish between multiple potential candidates.
