Applicants must be a graduating senior, or have graduated from a high school in the City of Martinsville, or the counties of Franklin, Henry, Patrick, or Pittsylvania. Applicant must enroll at least part-time in an educational program at an accredited four-year college or university that is associated with the United Methodist Church. While applicants may pursue any course of study, preference will be given to those studying to become a Methodist minister. Applicants must also have an annual household income of no more than $92,000 if there is one student attending college, or no more than $107,000 if there are two students attending college in the household.
