Applicants must have achieved a passing grade point average on a 4.0 scale. Criteria is based on: (in order of preference) Students graduating from Hoover High School in North Canton, Ohio who have participated in the wrestling program; Students attending West Liberty University in Wheeling, West Virginia; Students graduating from any Stark County area high school who have participated in a wrestling program. In addition, applicants must demonstrate that they are individuals of character and integrity who have been accepted into a college, university, vocational or technical school.
