Jean Ileialoha Beniamina Scholarship For Ni'Ihau Students Fund
Hawaii Community Foundation
Established by Wayne J. Rapozo in 2010 in honor of the late Aunty Ilei Beniamina who was from Ni'ihau and helped educate and bring together the community to support Hawaiians and Hawaiian culture. Applicants must be residents of Kaua‘i or Ni‘ihau Island planning to attend an accredited, two or four year, not-for-profit institution within the US (including US territories) as full-time students. Preference given to current Ni‘ihau residents or Kaua‘i residents who are one or two generations removed from Ni‘ihau Island and students who are proficient or fluent in the Hawaiian language.
