Jane Salansky-Onzik Scholarship Fund

First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania

This scholarship is for seniors at South Williamsport High School in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must attend an undergraduate program at an accredited institution of higher education full-time, preferably in Pennsylvania. Applicants must be studying secondary education, preferably to teach Spanish, or be studying Spanish in preparation for a career that would utilize the Spanish language. Applicants must exhibit good citizenship and community involvement; have unmet financial need; potential for college success; and not be a recipient of any other major scholarship awards. Applicants must submit a short essay describing someone they believe displayed good citizenship.
