Community Foundation of the Great River Bend

This scholarship is for graduating seniors from one of the following high schools in Iowa: Davenport Central, Davenport North, Davenport West, Bettendorf, and Rivermont Collegiate. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a 3.0 GPA or be in the scholastic upper 1/3 of their graduating class and plan on being full-time college students enrolled for the purpose of earning credits for a bachelor of arts or bachelor of science undergraduate college degree. Applicants' high school curriculum should have an emphasis on college preparatory classes. Applications will be evaluated on need, and applicants must list or include any other financial awards received. It is the Werners' strong preference that students attend a private liberal arts school located outside of the 150-mile radius of Arsenal Island in Illinois. Applicants must show school preference on their application form. The college or university must be a member of the North Central Accrediting Agency or an equivalent accrediting agency in another geographic region in the United States.
