James & Viola Wayland Students Choice Scholarship

Funds bequeathed by the late James & Viola Wayland have created an endowment for scholarships in a field of study that the student may choose. James Wayland was a CPA who regularly worked 12-hour days and was very frugal in his lifestyle. He and his wife Viola were greatly influenced by having lived through the Great Depression of the 1930’s. Recipient must maintain an overall GPA of 2.7 or higher and a GPA of 3.2 in designated major area. Must be resident of Fairfield County, Ohio.
