James & Viola Wayland Accounting & Computer Science Scholarship

Funds bequeathed by the late James and Viola Wayland have created an endowment for scholarships in accounting or computer science. James Wayland was a CPA who regularly worked 12-hour days and was very frugal in his lifestyle. He and his wife Viola were greatly influenced by having lived through the Great Depression of the 1930’s. Recipient must major in the area of accounting or computer science and maintain an overall GPA of 2.7 or higher and a GPA of 3.2 in designated major area. Must be resident of Fairfield County, Ohio.
