James A. Macready, M.D. Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is for graduating seniors from Monroe High School in Monroe, Ohio. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be in good standing with a GPA for grades 9-12 that is acceptable for enrollment in an accredited four-year college or university. Preference will be given to applicants entering college with a major that qualifies that them to enter the field of allopathic medicine. If there is no student interested in going into the allopathic medical field, an outstanding student entering the teaching profession may be considered for the scholarship.
