Community Foundation for Monterey County
Established in 2000 in memory of James Bliss to award annual scholarships to students attending accredited post-secondary schools within California, pursuing studies in Fire Science, Forestry, Nursing, and/or Paramedic/EMT training. Applicants should demonstrate financial need, scholastic or vocational ability, and eligibility for acceptance to an institute of higher education in California. Open to students at Pacific Grove High School.
