This scholarship was established in 2005 by Masako Hirata as a trustee for the Ichiro Hirata Trust for Hawaii residents majoring in Education. Requirements: Resident of the State of Hawai’i, demonstrate financial need, attend an accredited, two or four year, not-for-profit institution within the US (including US territories) and major in Education.
