Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF)

This scholarship is for Hispanic students with a permanent address or who attend an institution in one of the following areas: Atlanta, Georgia metropolitan area; Dallas-Ft. Worth, Texas metropolitan area; Los Angeles, California metropolitan area; or the Miami, Florida metropolitan area. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be enrolled as a high school senior in the fall, or be community college students transferring to a four-year institution, and plan to enroll full-time during the academic year in a degree-seeking program at a four-year accredited US institution in the United States, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, or Guam. All majors are eligible; however, applicants majoring in hospitality administration or culinary arts are encouraged to apply. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA and be US citizens or legal permanent residents with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired). Applicants also must file for federal financial aid by completing the FAFSA. Applicants must not be employees of or have an immediate family member who is an employee of any of the following Darden Restaurant brands: Olive Garden, Red Lobster, LongHorn Steakhouse, Capital Grille, Bahama Breeze, Seasons 52, Eddie V's, Yard House, or Darden Foundation.
