Howard M. and Jane F. Thompson Scholarship

First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania

This scholarship is for high school seniors at Jersey Shore Area High School in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must attend a full-time undergraduate program at an accredited institution of higher education and pursue a course of study in education. Applicants must exhibit good citizenship and community involvement and have unmet financial need. Other than a strong potential for success, such factors as class rank and GPA will not be criteria in making a selection unless in the judgment of the selection committee such factors are needed to distinguish between multiple potential candidates.
