Hinton Area Foundation

Scholarships made possible by this fund are awarded to students who are graduates of Summers County High School, for undergraduate study at an accredited college or university. The scholarship may be given to the same student for one year or renewed annually for up to four years. The recipient will be named by the Session of the First Presbyterian Church of Hinton, WV. Should the session not have a recipient for the grant, then that scholarship will be awarded by the HAF Scholarship Committee. Each scholarship recipient is chosen on the basis of an evaluation of his or her application information.
