Hispanic Center Scholarship - Non-Traditional Student

This scholarship is for nontraditional students in Berks County, Pennsylvania, who are Hispanic and are pursuing undergraduate study. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must meet one of the following criteria: 1) have a high school diploma/GED, are responsible for raising his or her child or children, and plan to study part- or full-time; 2) have, at some time, received a high school diploma or GED and intend to study part-time; 3) are over the age of 25, have earned a high school diploma or GED and plan to study full-time; or 4) are 25 or older and are currently enrolled as part- or full-time undergraduate students. Applicants' ethnic background must originate from Mexico, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Central America or South America, and they must attend an accredited institution. Kutztown University, Reading Area Community College, Alvernia College, Albright College and Penn State Berks-Lehigh Valley College might match scholarships given from this fund for students who attend those schools. Award amount may vary.
