The Henry J. and Pauline M. Armstrong Memorial Scholarship honors Henry and Pauline Armstrong, lifelong residents of Nebraska. Henry graduated from Greenwood High School and attended college before beginning his farming career. To apply, you must be a current graduating senior or former graduate of Waverly High School in Waverly, Nebraska demonstrating scholastic application and achievement in high school and/or college studies. The applicant may attend a college or university of his or her choice and must be seeking a degree in agriculture, home economics, or veterinary medicine;
OR
Applicant must be a male graduate of Waverly High School who will attend a Lutheran seminary school with intentions of pursuing postgraduate studies at a Lutheran seminary college and becoming a minister. The applicant must demonstrate financial need. Those who receive scholarships are eligible to reapply for additional scholarships in subsequent academic years if academic progress is satisfactory and scholarship funds are needed to continue their studies.
