Henry J. Bianchi Scholarship

The Henry J. Bianchi Scholarship was created by Skyline High School alumni for Skyline High School seniors in honor of Mr. Bianchi, a great Skyline High School counselor and leader. Mr. Bianchi (1931-1999), dedicated his life to teaching, helping and mentoring Oakland students. He also taught English and French and counseled students at Bret Harte Junior High School from 1954 to1966 before becoming a counselor at Skyline from 1967 to 1990. Mr. Bianchi was known for his humor, love of the arts and interest in Skyline High School sports.
Applicants must be a current graduating high school senior at Skyline High School in Oakland, CA with a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and strong letters of recommendation.
