Heart of America Scholarship

American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE)

This scholarship is for full-time undergraduate and graduate students who are pursuing a degree in occupational safety and health or a closely related field. Undergraduate students must have a 3.0 GPA; graduate students must have a 3.5 GPA. Priority will be given in the following order: to students attending University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Missouri, or Pittsburgh State University in Pittsburgh, Kansas; to those attending a university in Kansas or Missouri; or to those attending a university within Region V, which includes the states of North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois. ASSE student membership is preferred, but not required.
