H.C. Shipman Scholarship Fund

Herbert C. Shipman headed the W.H. Shipman Ltd. Company from 1943 until 1976. Mr. Shipman was also a conservationist, working to save the nene from extinction. He was amongst the first to raise orchids on Hawai'i Island and has a park named after him in Kea'au. This scholarship fund was established by the H.C. Shipman Foundation in his memory for the purpose of supporting students from Kea'au public high schools.

Applicant must be a graduate of Kea‘au High School or Ke Kula ‘O Nawahiokalani‘opu‘u Iki Laboratory Public Charter School.
