Grant Program for Dependents of Correctional Officers

Illinois Student Assistance Commission

This grant is for spouses and children of Illinois correctional officers who were killed or disabled in the line of duty. To qualify, applicants must be enrolled on at least a half-time basis at an approved Illinois two- or four-year college and maintain satisfactory academic progress as established by the college. Applicants must not be in default on any student loan, nor owe a refund on any state or federal grant, and be US citizens or eligible non-citizens. See website for more details.
