Applicants must be a graduating senior from Alleghany County High School who plans to enroll in an accredited two- or four-year institution of higher education. Applicant must be active in his/her church, school and community and demonstrate a zest for life and be a friend to all. While not a requirement, preference will be given to students who have obtained the rank of Eagle Scout or Gold Award. Immediate family members of the Fund Advisory Committee will not be eligible.
