This scholarship is for graduating seniors of North Posey High School with a minimum 2.5 grade point average (4.0 scale) in core subjects of English, math, social studies, and science with plans to attend any two- or four-year degree-granting institution. Selection will be based on financial need, level of involvement in community service and/or athletics, and hardship situations. Preference will be given to students planning to major in world history, business, foreign language, or areas related to writing and to students who live in Harmony TownshipApplicants must be Gibson County residents or the natural or adopted children of a current employee who has completed the equivalent of one year of full-time service with Mid-States Rubber Prod­ucts prior to January 31 of the year in which the award is to be made. Applicants must be enrolled in a full-time course of study leading to a two-year degree or certificate at an accredited junior college or State-supported technical college. Applicants must have graduated in the upper half of their high school senior class. Selection will be based on scholastic record, evidence of leadership, and career plans and objectives. Preference will be given to students with a parent employed at Mid-States Rubber Products.
