G. Freeman and Elizabeth M. Brooks Scholarship

Polk County Community Foundation

This fund is for one or more post-secondary scholarships to be awarded annually with preference given to candidates, if any, pursuing a career in medicine or nursing. This scholarship should have such other award criteria as the Foundation may from time to time determine and there should be consideration given to the financial need of students. This scholarship may be renewed up to three subsequent years provided the student has continued financial need and maintains a 3.0 grade point average.
